Radial honey extractor – an effective option for medium and larger apiaries
Anyone who is semi-professional or fully professional beekeeping knows how important it is to use time efficiently. One of the activities that absorbs the most of it in the season is honey harvesting. A radial honey extractor with a size adapted to the needs of the apiary will save such valuable time and fully spread the wings of the bee keeper.
Radial honey extractor - who needs this solution?
Radial honey extractors are perfect tools for apiaries, where honey extraction is treated as an additional source of income, or the main, or even the only, occupation. These efficient devices allow trouble-free extraction of several dozen hive boxes or supers a day. With good organization of work, it is possible to empty more than 100 bodies during a single working day. A radial honey extractor uses centrifugal force to empty the comb cells. Frames in the drum diverge radially from the basket axis. Perpendicular movement towards the walls of the device causes the honey to be removed simultaneously from both sides of the honeycombs, which excludes the need of changing their initial position. Such an arrangement of the honeycombs also allows efficient use of space in the drum. The largest models offered by Konigin allow the extraction of as many as 60 frames in a single load! The smallest solution of this type is equipped with a basket with a capacity of 20 frames. All models have electric drive and semi-automatic control. The assortment of radial honey extractors at Konigin consists of as many as 16 items with electric drive. In addition, we offer models in manual or mixed, manual-electric versions. More information can be found in the catalog tab and in the subsidy offer.
Honey extractors for 20-30 frames
This is by far the best segment of radial honey extractors for semi-professionals. The equipment designed and built for emptying honeycombs from 2-3 bodies means that the owner of an apiary with 20, 30 or even 40 hives will deal with honey harvesting in the blink of an eye! The smallest and cheapest model is the K1010. It has a drum with a diameter of only 630mm. However, this is enough to spin frames from typically commercial, modern systems, such as for example 1/2D, 1/2 WL, 1/2 LN or Apipol. The K1035 model is equipped with the largest drum in this group. Its diameter is 960mm, which allows simultaneous extraction of 28 WL frames.
Honey extractors for 30-60 frames
Such equipment, thanks to which honey can be obtained from 3 to 6 bodies, is not a joke. Such devices are dedicated to owners of large and very large apiaries. One of such honey extractors is, for example, the K1013. It is an attractive price equipment for super frames. Owners of large apiaries using systems with higher frames, such as full size LN or OS, will certainly be interested in the K1018 model. This device is equipped with a drum with a diameter of 1250mm. That allows you to empty 48 frames at a time. The wide portfolio of Konigin company allows you to choose the optimal variant of the radial honey extractor, which will reliably serve for many years.
